Yay! I’m happy that you don’t need surgery. I guess it’s a good thing you had all those tests. It sounds like more detective work is needed and hope more information will be helpful in the long run.
I was told Paratyroid surgery was needed on both sides. Did all the test, CT and ultrasound. At the end no surgery was needed or a problem. Not sure what my doctor was thinking. My calcium is high, my Paratyroid did show a problem on labs. What eats me about doctors, great she doesn’t have to do anything but I still have high calcium and no suggestions on next step. I end up doing so much research since doctors don’t have time to. The journey started when my heart showed damage in just a six month period. Back to square one. I don’t worry about much but my heart already has issues. Have a great day.
That’s what I was meaning and worrying a little about with ‘in terms of going forward’. I’ve had so many times where results have come back fine, no further action – great, don’t have a horrible diagnosis or need another surgery or whatever, but it doesn’t help because I still don’t know what’s wrong or how to make things better. And it sounds like that’s the situation you’re now back in. If your parathyroid showed issues on labs, that could account for high calcium, but I guess with a clear CT they don’t think it’s anything that can be ‘seen’, no sign for anything nasty. Still, there’s something not quite right. What do you think your next step will be..? xx

Things didn’t turn out so positive….the later call said there’s a tumor. I’m expecting it to be okay.
I will expect it to be okay, too. ❤
I’m not sure exactly what the results mean in terms of going forward but if you’re happy then I’m happy! Very glad the results were good 😀

I’ve asked my doctor what type of doctor I need to see now. We’ll see tomorrow. Have a great day.
