I Have Become An Ambassador For CureClick

Why did I join CureCLick and what does this mean?

I have become an Ambassador for CureCLick because I feel strongly in advancing medical research. If we are to advance in medicine we have to participate in Clinical Trials. One reason why drugs don’t get funded is there are not a sufficient number of people signing up for the Clinical Trial.

Just think if you could make a difference in your life or the life of a loved one by participating in a Clinical Trial. Your participation could help find the next medical breakthrough or cure. I’ve participated in several Clinical Trials over the years and it’s a great feeling knowing I may have played a role in finding medicine for an illness I have.

An Ambassador is someone who is passionate about advancing medical research thru participation in Clinical Trials. My role is simply one of an educator, educate on what Clinical Trials are available, and ones you may be interested in reading more about thru CureCLick.

There are Clinical Trials happening every day, everywhere and you may qualify for one that can shape the future of an illness you or a loved one suffers from. Some of the Clinical Trials may be paid opportunities, meaning you are paid for your participation in the trial.

Here are three Clinical Trials currently available. One for those with Ulcerative Colitisone for Lumbar Disc Herniation and Sciatica, and one for Cluster Headaches.

Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes swelling and sores to develop inside the colon (large intestine). If you have UC, you may have stomach pain and cramping, an increase in urgent bowel movements, and see blood in your stool, on toilet tissue or in the toilet bowl.

Symptoms usually develop over time and can vary from one person to another, depending on the severity of disease and where it occurs. Some people have long periods without symptoms, while others experience relapses or periods of time during the year when symptoms are more active. These active symptoms are called flares or flare-ups.

A herniated disc refers to a problem with one of the rubbery cushions (discs) that sit between the individual bones (vertebrae) that stack to make your spine. Lumbar disc herniation occurs when the discs in the lower back bulge, pushing against the sciatic nerve. Researchers are exploring a non-surgical option to relieve the symptoms of lumbar disc herniation.

Cluster headache is one of the most painful types of headaches.

Cluster headache commonly awakens you in the middle of the night with intense pain in or around one eye on one side of your head. Bouts of frequent attacks, known as cluster periods, may last from weeks to months. Please help explore new treatments for this painful condition.

I hope you have found this post helpful and will check out an available Clinical Trial if you are interested or someone you know may be interested. I would love to hear your feedback on my new role as Ambassador for CureClick. Do you think this is a good fit for my blog and my passions?
