Looking for the Light 
Thank you to our troops!
Recently I found out how little Uncle Sam pays our enlisted military men and women. I believe a first year soldier makes only $1400 a month. That’s before taxes of course. Now, they don’t have rent or utilities to pay. They probably have a car. But still, many of these folks have families. Pay this low, to people willing to die for their country, is shameful. I bet that’s minimum wage. What message do we send to these heroes? Hey, we support our troops! Y’all are so brave! Thank you for your service! Oh, and here’s how to apply for food stamps. America, put your money where your mouth is!!!

You are right about how our military is treated, how can we expect anyone to live at that income and then say go put yourself in harms way? Thank God we have those that will.
