Spending some time near water can be healing for the mind and soul. Take yourself to a source of water, such as the ocean, a river, or even a small pond. Close your eyes and take in the sounds.

    1. I’ve rested some today, cut all news out until I’m ready and no longer watching the show. I watch so many shows with violence, mostly police, FBI shows but they are not as brutal. This show was on Paramount+. I’m raw and it will take a couple of weeks for my body and mind to heal. On top of the nausea and vomiting from my medication, it’s been rough.

  1. For me, with me not always hearing the water because of my deafness, then I have to watch. But I get the same calmness as I remember when I used to hear.
