We’ve been BBGing since Friday and still have chicken for tomorrow. David hade his mouthwatering fall off the bone baby back ribs and we had an ear of sweet corn tonight, it was perfect. What are you sewing? Granny could sow anything but I didn’t pick up the skill. I have her mother’s antique sewing machine but I won’t use it, I plan on having David strip and restain and use as a hall piece or something decorative in the house. We haven’t had room here.

I love ribs that fall off the bone!!!! I make quilts. I’m working on ones that use all the scraps, I real, old-fashioned scrap quilt.

I have one that is over 100 years old, Granny sent ti up to Oklahoma so several women the knew the stiching could repair it. It was my Gramps mothers. Granny made several but they were sinple designs, I have about 25.

I love it, it’s very detailed in soft blues, picks and purple. I haven’t taken it out of the trunk in ages, I just leave them in there for another day. I actually plan to donated all but one of Grannies to a Senior Living community who can relate to quilts.

Still working on bouncing back from the trip to the ER but the new medication is starting to work. I’m tired since it has interrupted my sleep but I’m not complaining!
