The next time you’re in a room with 6 people, think about this:

1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experience violence from their partners in their lifetimes.
1 in 3 teens experience sexual or physical abuse or threats from a boyfriend or girlfriend in one year.
1 in 5 women are survivors of rape.
1 in 2 women and 1 in 5 men have experienced some form of sexual violence in their lives.
1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men were sexually abused before the age of 18.

    i bet it’s higher….as i know several men who have never talked about what happen to them in childhood.

    1. I agree, it must be very hard to talk about so people stay silent. Even if the numbers are off they are not numbers I want to live with. I was sexually abused by my father and raped twice. I never told anyone about being raped until last year to my Therapist. I can talk about getting the shit beat out of me all day but the other are buried. I know you must understand that.
