My diagnosis of fibromyalgia has been problematic. During one visit I mentioned my diagnosis of fibromyalgia and he said, and I quote “That’s not a real disease.”

It is very frustrating. I also have fibromyalgia and some people including health care professionals will tel me it’s not real.

If they could walk one day in our shoes they would think different. Keep pushing for a doctor that understands, one day you’ll find one. Have a great day. :)

I have heard that more then once. I have had fibromyalgia since I was 24. I am now 45. I have been dealing with pain, fatigue,brain fog, nausea,ibs. I have lots of issues . It sucks when someone says it isn’t real.
