If you did not receive the email, you will no longer be able to automatically send your post to Twitter. Apparently, negotiations have broken off. What that means is bloggers from WordPress will have to manually tweet posts.
This is a huge amount of work for some and will likely mean not using Twitter. I wrote Elon Musk two tweets this morning. For all I know he’ll block me or shut down my account but he needed to know we, not WordPress will suffer. This move will save WordPress money but will cost all of us time, time that some chronically ill people don’t have.
Please go to Twitter and send @elonmusk a message letting him know you’re not happy about the change.
I have supported all of his changes to date, but not this one! He’s looking to make more money from corporate users without regard for the people behind the company.
