    1. He had the most amazing eyes and demanded that I spend at least 30 minutes alone playing with him. He is greatly missed. I’m a tad bit better and sending several letters to state representatives including the Governor and and my local leaders. I have so many people I want to email but I only have so much energy a day. As you can see, I did post today. Have a great afternoon.

I have a question that will seem out of nowhere. Do you have American Indian ancestors? I’m taking the gloves off and sharing a post about how Native Americans, the first true Americans have been treated, discuss the raping of the land and putting them on desolate areas as their new reservation without any support from the government. Two things set me off on this topic, the current generations who are demanding reparations for Slavery and the continued mistreatment of the American Indians. I don’t believe anyone is owed money for a tragedy that happened in the past, but if we’re entertaining the idea, let’s give the money to people who were harmed the most in America’s history. Am I setting myself up for comment overload? Hugs.

      1. I’m glad to hear you’re doing a little better Mel. I’ve been praying for you. It’s hard when you only have so much energy in a day and so many things you want to do, isn’t it?

As far as your questions, according to a couple of different family trees I’ve been shown, I do have some American Indian ancestors. These family trees were done the old-fashioned way, long before Ancestry.com, and I don’t even know who in my family has them anymore, or how accurate they are. Now with the comment overload question, I’m not sure…. I guess it depends on what would constitute ‘overload’ for you. Sometimes when we have something we feel strongly about, we might feel it’s worth the cost of time, energy, etc. it would cost us. Only you can decide that, I think.

I hope you continue to feel better than your have been, sweet friend. Sending hugs your way!

        1. Thanks, Terri. I’m turning one of my other sites into a place for me to say whatever, don’t care about followers just pure me. That way my main audience doesn’t have to read since it’s out of my mainstream writing. :)
