Magnolia trees are common in Texas , they can grow huge and live long. the fragrance of the flowers is the attraction. The smell stays with you, it’s deep, sweet and keeps pulling you back in. Mine is in a planter since it’s much smaller. they are a bit picky about the PH but not difficult to grow. :)
