      1. Oh right. I went to look at that flower and so it’s not a flower I have seen before to know. The flower looks so different from this viewpoint to the other one. I would not have realised it was the same flower.

      1. I thought when I was asking that it may have been a plant I was already familar with, but being confused from seeing it from a different angle. But it has turned out to be something I am not familar with. 🙂

      Indian blanket is a North American species of short-lived perennial or annual flowering plants in the sunflower family. It is also known as firewheel, Indian blanketflower, or sundance. The name comes from the color patterns of the flowers that resemble designs found in native American Indian blankets. Indian blanket is an annual native throughout the central U.S. and is one of the easiest wildflowers to grow. It prefers a hot dry climate in full sun and rarely eaten by deer.
