Hello, so glad you stopped by today.
To allow more comments and my ability to communicate with others, I’ve changed the settings so that you don’t have to log in or be a WordPress member.
I’ve updated my About Me page slightly and continue to work on making Organizations That Can Help a drop-down menu. I’ve done it in the past but currently, it’s not correct.
One area I want to expand is Organization that Can Help, please provide any you know of so I can create a much better resource. Thanks. :)
Look for more changes as I work to improve my blog.
Thank you for reading and visiting my blog.
Melinda

Thank you Gavin. I am concerned the all white background is too clean. Does that make sense. I truly love color but find many blogs are too colorful, or hard to read. Your’s is perfect!

Your blog is fabulous, Melinda, and getting better all of the time. You reminded me to change my comment ability, as well. I’ve heard frustration from non WordPress readers on the difficulty of commenting. Thank you for that pointer.

Thank you for the update. By the way, I have been wanting to change my settings as well so my friends on Facebook don’t have to log into WordPress to read my poems. If you don’t mind me asking, how do you do that?

Not exact steps but as close as I remember. Go to Settings, maybe under communications or along that line. you will see all the settings. I turned off “must log in” and must be signed in to WP”. Hope that helps.

Okay. I went to “comments” in my Jetpack settings and the “must be logged in,” is turned off. My friend on Facebook has said when she clicks on my WP link, it asks her to log in, even though I have that switched off. I can try asking her to try clicking on my link again to see if it requires her to sign in. Crossing my fingers it doesn’t. She really likes reading my poems.

I don’t go to Jetpack settings, I go to settings on the Home page of my blog. It’s on the left hand side second from the bottom and worked through there. It’s WordPress settings you need to change. I only work with the minimum of Jetpack. The same happens when I em my hubby a post, it ask him to sing in. that’s an issue I’m not taking on right now. Good luck. Remember you can go to Copilot and ask it any WordPress question you want to get an answer. No more contacting support. :)
