The interview with Jonny Carson was after he was no longer the Governor of California and out of politics. This is not a take-party sides interview, it’s actually the opposite. He talks about common sense on issues that affect all people.
This video is so refreshing, and I look forward to the day someone like Ronald Reagan runs for the President. I try hard to keep out of politics but it’s very hard these days to not have an opinion, most of them strong. Many areas of our government are broken without a fix in sight. I love his candor and attitude and think he was a great President. We need someone like him to run for President because I don’t see anyone fit for the job now.
The most important comment he made was, not verbatim, that people need to look to themselves to solve problems, not the government. Amen, and a cherry on top!!!!!

The same for me and many of my friends. I’d vote for anyone, if I thought they were a good candidate. I think Liz Cheney or Mitt Romney could be good for both parties, but don’t think either would get on the ballot.

Condelesta Rice, or Liz Chaney would have been great choices. I don’t see Liz getting into the game. She sick of the BS. I don’t see anyone worthy beyond this election so it will be interesting who steps up. Kamala is a waist, she has done nothing for us and wasn’t even qualified for VP.

I wonder if Kamala was restricted so as not to overshadow Biden. Whatever. I just keep praying for a peaceful resolution to the election. We need help!

We need major help or we’re going to be more divided, more gun violence and more cronies like Trump. They are brain washed and can’t see what the trials are about, there not witch hunts as he claims they are for crimes he committed in office and with his business. I never seen a President go to trial after being in office. It’s anew low.

There’s a lot to think about in that interview. It was good to listen to Reagan, his calm demeanor and thoughtful responses.

Our country needs someone like him to turn our country around. When I look at, there’s no one out their. He was the great bipartison leader and neither party will work that way. I have another great speech he did in my 4th of July post. It’s just as moving. He was a bit old school which I really appreciate but I think it says a great deal about him that he changed parties after being a life long Dem. I’ve been a Rep since my 20’s but after voting for Trump I changed parties, not becasue I beleive in the foundation of the Dem party but there was no way I would vote for a Rep until a good one presents themselves. I may be waiting for a long time. I would love to know what Ronald would say about the state of our country now. :)
