My husband buy me flowers every Sunday and I’m so glad because I love cut flowers. This week he surprised my with the most beautiful orange Gladiolas. I have several photos included in this post.

ok. My husband has never bought me flowers! Can we swap? Thank goodness he has other good qualities. Orange gladiolus and Lantana grow wild along Alabama gulf coast. It’s an amazing site. The lantanas cover whole lots.

It took years for him to catch on but it started being regular when I was struggling with health issues. I plan to have a Gladiolus bed in our next house. We have Lantana all across our front flower beds, it’s so easy to grow, thrives on the Texas heat, and comes back every year.

I haven’t either but he’s only bought them one other time. I love orange and now want a bed of them in our next house. Mt neighbor has two beds and they grow easily and come back every year. I love the flowers that come back, they are special and require so little work. I have a pick Lilly bed and they reward me every year. :)

I have not grown them but plan to have a bed when we move. It took awhile for him to catch on about the flowers but now he’s like clock work. I’m happy about that.
