WordPress does not allow bloggers to block another blogger for reblogging their posts or sending spam. This site has been spamming me for over six months. Today, I want you to know who they are. Bloggers who spam you by trying to sell you something, rant, or try to get you to follow their blog are waisting their time. I keep all comments in moderation and as soon as I see them, I permanently delete them.
Blogs like this don’t stop, they are too ignorant to realize that I would never click on the link and never buy their products.
Don’t waste your time reading or trying to block, just delete and wait for the next one. Someday they may stop.

Spammers are annoying! I ignore all of their spammy comments, I rarely go to my spam folder, but occasionally legit comments get buried in there, so I will go retrieve them. X

By keeping my comments in moderation I do get less but they still come.

Appreciate your wise tips and strategy to deter the annoyance spammers create for us in the blogging community. Such a wise move to keep all comments in moderation until approved or deleted. As a new blogger seeking to generate comments it’s so disheartening to finally see a comment only to find out it is spam.

It’s an annoyance and if this blogger should see the post, it won’t make any difference. But I can’t sit on my hands either. Comments grow over time and the reationship with your community does. In the past I thought I could control comments but this year I have blogged less than in previous years, I’m interacting more with the community and my comments have gone way up. I have to remember we live in a fast culture, for people to take the time to comment they have to be truly moved by the post or feel invested in you. At least that’s my thought. Have a great day. :)
