Yesterday I noticed the button to reach Reader was missing, this morning I looked everywhere including places I knew it would not be. Has this happened to you as well? I know WordPress is a a mess to work with and this is probably another one of their issues that will correct itself at some point. If nothing else I want to make sure it’s not just me or a possible issue with my browser software.

I didn’t notice that, but my “stats” page hasn’t been working. I get notifications on likes & then the stats say “no views”. They had to view it to hit the “like” button didn’t they?

I don’t remember having troubles when it was actually WordPress….maybe it’s this new “Jetpack” thing?

Yeah, took me a min as well. It is now a pair of glasses. Which for some reason made me think of Harry Potter? lol. IDK. I need some coffee. haha.

Does it still say reader on the left top? Mine has moved to the top right of the page and looks like a pair of glasses, it’s next tot he question mark.

It was moved to the top right and looks like a pair of glasses. The first day I tried it didn’t work but it worked today. :)

Yes! but now it’s some eyeglasses on the top right hidden by a blank square.. So non userfriendly

It is there but it moved and changed icons. Look on your dashboard, home page, in the upper right hand of the task bar and you will see a spectacle icon. Click on that and your reader will open. No thank you WP!!

I had a few people let me know. Why WP can’t inform bloggers what is going on is beyond me but that’s the same ole story.

Appreciate the question, Melinda, and I am thankful for the helpful follow-up responses posted on here as well. Moving forward I’ll know to look to the top left and/or right. Couldn’t find it on the left-side yesterday at all. Perhaps Word Press is enjoying a cute game of Peek-A-Boo with its users.

Hope you can figure out what happened to it Melinda, I think it is a glasses icon now. I don’t use it. I use my email to receive blog posts. X

It is, it just didn’t work yesterday. Today it works fine.

It’s now located in the top right corner. Look for an icon that looks like reading glasses, next to a question mark icon for help and support. Let me know if you find it!

It has moved over to the top left and looks like a pair of reading glasses. It worked fine today.

Yes. I have had the reading glasses for the reader for I don’t know how long exactly than it has beeen several weeks. I know that.
It changed one day to that while I was active on WordPress. I have luckily not experienced any problems since that change.

Yes, the reader tab button has moved over to the right side by the bell. It is now the glasses symbol. Maybe for reading glasses. Hope this helps. Another blogger let me know when mine disappeared, too. :)
