I wrote You Know It’s Crazy When about discovering a plant I had nursed for a couple of years was actually an artificial plant. Well, it’s alive! I stopped watering for a couple of weeks, and the leaves started turning yellow and falling off. I’m completely stumped at this point. I started watering again and decided to replant; surely, it was root-bound. Not so fast, when I removed the plant it had a small root ball and two dead pieces of roots below.
I have no idea why it was not growing. From live plant to artificial plant and back to live plant, it can’t make up its mind.

I’m giggling at this strange thing that happened. I remember the earlier post, and now this. I hope it decides to grow some more now. :)

I hope it goes too, I won’t give it as long though. Show me some growth or I’m done!

Haha, that is so strange, Melinda, but happy it is alive again!

That is bizarre. I have nurtured a plastic plant but it never converted into a live one. Many times I have converted live ones into dead ones.

I’m sure guilty of killing a few! I was learning how to grow succulents but they kept dying, I decided to buy high quality faux succulents and they look great and need no attention. :)
