When you were a child, what job did you think was perfect?
For me it was being a DJ or an Ice Dancer.
I can’t wait to hear your answers.

I wanted a loving family more than anything.

The abuse I went through made me afrais I would abuse my own children. I couldn’t shake that feeling. Can you have fish at your place? Maybe you can grow a fish family. Silly?

As an adult I was the same. No kids. Same as you. But as a young child I wanted a family.

Did you have an opportunity to spend time as either a DJ or dancer?

Only a DJ at my parties. No ice dancer. I love music so much. :)

The first thing I wanted to be was a veterinarian. From what I learned over the years, even vet school practices would be emotionally difficult. God was watching out for me.

That’s a very hard job and to think they can out what is wrong with touching them and lab work. We love our Vet.

I’m glad you love your vet. I loved the one we had in Wilmington. The new one’s okay, but busy. There’s a shortage of vets around here.

Have you found a rescue center close by to volunteer? I’m sure you miss the guys back home.

There’s a place about 30 miles away that rescues dogs and cats from the dismal county “shelter” I’m going to apply to and also another prospect on the horizon. Thanks for asking.

The first were jobs of passion and buisness school was logical. Good choice. :)

Thank you. And you’re absolutely right. Passion vs. practicity…
Take care.

I wanted to be a flight attendant. I learned Spanish so I could be bi-lingual.

That was a more respected job at one point, now is dealing with rude passengers, people with bags that are too big and there’s always the fear of fights. Thank goodness they don’t serve alcohol anymore. You could have been a world traveler.

I really don’t know Miranda …when I was small I often had to accompany my Mum either on her own or with one of my brothers or sister and I saw a lot of receptionists ….they always looked smart and had a smile 😊
