This was a bit unexpected, and while I’ve never been a huge Pink fan, she did an excellent job with this Janis Joplin song. Of course, no one can top Janis, but Pink really showed a side of her that’s been hidden. Maybe she should consider making a country or jazz-rock album, definitely a step up from pop….

it’s a good version but it pales against the fierce authenticity of Janis Joplin —

Pink did a good job but only Janis can sing the song, it’s one of my favorites.
