Daily writing prompt
What are the most important things needed to live a good life?
When I was much younger, having a good life meant money and material things but those things did not make my life a good one. After turning 40 years old, I realized what is most important to me. Family tops the list followed by being kind, trustworthy, follow through on commitments, and being grateful for what I have.
I have a great life now instead of a shallow one.

Hopefully, someone younger in a similar situation will think twice. I was wealthy, had what looked like the perfect life, perfect marriage, several rental houses, and the marriage had fallen apart long before we divorced.

And with years of therapy the trauma is in the past.

Family and health definitely but young people need to build their own families, and take health for granted, which changes the priorities for them
