I would lie on the floor with my big headphones and listen to the albums on my Grandparent’s ancient console that also included an 8 track. This was good living before computers and smartphones were invented.

No kidding … I got a turntable for Christmas from my wife and our boys, and they couldn’t understand why I wanted one so badly. They’ll never fully appreciate the sound of vinyl or the simple joy of flipping the record to the other side.

Nothing sounds like vinyl! We don’t even have a turntable. Worse yet I donated all mine to charity. I loved playing DJ at parties, so much fun.

Exactly. I am so happy to have a turntable all over again. I actually haven’t used it in quite a while. I may need to get it going again this weekend…
