Join me and No More in the ongoing fight against Domestic Violence. Domestic Violence is everyone’s business and you could save a life. Make the call to 911 if you hear or see anything, it could save a life.
I grew up in a Domestic Violence household and the traumatic experience was harrowing at times. I watched my step-father put a knife to my mother’s throat when I was nine years old, that image never left me. My mother was praying under her breath.

It was crippling for years, so glad I found my therapist which I’ve been seeing for 32 years.

This subject is at the core of what has me the person I am today. I lived with seeing my mother getten beaten everyday at the same time she was beating me. Overcoming that trauma and few other childhood traums has made me strong and adamant about speaking. The issue is most people don’t read those post that would prefer to look the other way. It’s still very painful for some and some countries live that way as a stanard.
