I’m so glad you are enjoying Fun Facts. I learn something new each week, even if it’s weird. I love hearing your comments!
Buckingham Palace in London, England, has 775 rooms, including 78 bathrooms. (royal.uk)
The White House in Washington, DC, has 132 rooms, including 35 bathrooms. (whitehouse.gov)
It takes 570 gallons to paint the exterior of the White House. (whitehouse.gov)
The teddy bear is named after President Theodore Roosevelt. After he refused to shoot a captured black bear on a hunt, a stuffed-animal maker decided to create a bear and name it after the president. (nps.gov)
Lincoln Logs were created by John Lloyd Wright, son of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright, in the 1920s. They were named after Abraham Lincoln, who grew up in a log cabin. (nps.gov)
Enjoy!

I don’t see how but considering how many people live their it’s possible that quite a few are needed but that many?

Nobody needs that many rooms. I knew the Teddy bear was named after Theodore Roosevelt but did not know why. Good piece of history there. I still have my old, tattered Smokey the Bear.

JoAnna, do you let anything go? You’re an emotional person who likes to keep memories close by. :)

I have learned to let some things go. One step a time. :)

I was doing so good until Trump took office the first time and as much as cut my news down, I still get so angry. You have more strenght than I.

I don’t know if it’s strength, but it is self-care… sometimes in the form of hope that things will get better. I do feel guilty sometimes that I’m not doing enough, but I’ve been having those thoughts most of my life. We do what we can within reason, even if it’s just trying to create peace in our own little corner of the world and sending out some good vibes when we can. You do good work with your blog, Melinda. Take care of your beautiful spirit.

Thank you, JoAnna
Your words are what I needed today. As laid there awake last night, I felt hopelessness from dealing with one diagnosis after another. It gets overwhelming. I’m also exhausted so that probably amplifies the feeling. I’m not giving up but felt it for a few hours. :)

Being exhausted definitely amplifies feelings. I hope you feel better after having rested. I’m praying you have more moments of peace, comfort, and joy in spite of those diagnoses.
