Choosing one is a difficult task because there were so many great cartoons when I was little. The one that sticks with my is Popeye, eating his spinch for strenght and declaring “I am what I am”. My memory of every episode doesn’t come to mind but Popeye had a positive attitude and always pitched in to make things right.

She was a perfect match. Those skinny legs, her voice and love for Popeye made the show.

You liked the cartoon too?

I watched it as a kid. Not much though. I grew up in times with little access to western culture or TV. We had one TV channel working part-time, and it would mostly air propaganda and russian movies about the war.
But it did slip through somehow. Popeye was tiny but strong, very inspiring.

I’m 62 and at times I think we’re close to the same age or maybe your a bit younger, do you mind telling me how old you are? It sounds like we were watching Popeye around the same time. It must have been a sad time as a child to not be able to exposed to all the cartoons.
