Sunday in the Park Not on Fouth of July**Band Chicago if confused**

A couple of months ago I went to park and took photos of ducks, water and most important fresh air. It’s probably the day I was bit by a tick contracting Lyme. All the details for another post. It was wonderful just to drive my car, it’s three years old and has at best 1,000 miles. After being in the house sick or afraid to go anywhere by myself, just a park a few streets over felt like total freedom. The key to happiness was being able to take my camera and just mess around. I was struggling with balance problems but refuse to use my cane. I enjoyed the sun, staring down a squirrel and seeing loads of ducks. It’s a family park and many children were out feeding the ducks. There’s a creek near by and I had to investigate. We released 12 baby ducks there a couple of years ago. There were little fish, nothing exciting. It was the greatest day in recent history from a health perspective. I’ve only been out of the house twice since early fall and he drove both times. I’ve had a rough weekend yet wanted everyone to know I am thinking about you. I’m praying for a better day tomorrow. Thank you for stopping by or to my followers.

    • I go to Lyme doctor Tuesday, already started my gluten free diet and taking probiotics. I’m ready for an answer. I can regroup once I know what I’m dealing with. I go back after 30 days of helping my body get ready for the treatments. Then I’ll have an IV inserted into my arm and start high doses of liquid antibiotics twice a day. It kicks you’re ass, I will truly learn what I’m made of with this illness. But I will overcome and know my sisters and brothers at CTC will support me. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • I know you will keep us up, as best you can, on what’s going on. My thoughts are with you. You are a warrior.
You bet your ass we’ll be here in any way we can for you.

  1. I just listened to Tom Jones, it brought a big smile to my face. I got mushy on you!!!!! What a surprise. Hope you had a good weekend. So far feeling ok so working my ass off to get some post completed. I work about 5-7 post at a time. Not to mention four awards to wrap up. I received a new award this morning, it’s very rewarding. You never know if people want to here your story, I’ve been so open. In preparation for my treatments I cut my really short last night. I’d never cut my hair before 8 months ago, my last hair appt., I can’t saw I’m getting any better. Luckily it was the back and I can’t see it. In the big picture pain will outweigh how your hair looks. Hugs, ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Pace has not been in my vocabulary. I’m slowly learning. It’s quilt, must be from my lifetime of baggage. David has to do everything after working all day and it get’s to me sometimes. I try to do things I should not do, it’s the whole cycle. I know what I’m doing and I know needs to happen, until this weekend didn’t really soak in. It gets worse before it gets better. My feet are two footballs. I luckily have software which allows me to talk and the computer writes. It will come in handy. I don’t want to lose touch with the people who make me happy everyday. I liked the photo/art in the woods, very cool. Hugs. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thank you for stoping by, you’ve visited a couple times. You may need to cover your ears on some of the post, we don’t hold much back. I have Lyme, the pain and neurological symptoms keep me from driving. This is the calm before the storm, once treatment starts you feel like you’re dying. I’m to stubborn to let Lyme take me down. Have a good evening. I plan to post tomorrow. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I hope you will be able to get out more often. You should celebrate that pending birthday with a few warm ups to the park or other nice place. And we need proof by some more of your nice pictures. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thank you, the b-day is on the 19th and would love to get out. I haven’t filled everyone in on my ordeal. I’m in extreme pain, my feet look like footballs, I have arthritis in both hand, and know knees. I have meningitis so my neck hurts and the headaches are terrible. I had no idea Lyme could do that kind on damage. That’s the abbreviated version. This weekend was tough, I had so many new symptoms, I has to decide it I should go to doctor with all the selling. When my heart gives me problems I’ve been told to go, but all they can do is give me a water pill and send me home. We live in Plano, Texas and it is known for it’s parks and outdoor spaces. I pray for relief to leave the house for anything. Did you like my musical reference in the headline???? Thanks for the kind words. This may actually be the calm before the storm. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have thousands of shots I can work with and post if it comes to that.

      • I think you should bug the doctors incessantly. I do hope you can weather this. No matter what, be good to yourself. I do love your music and musical reference being an old Chicago fan from my teen days. YOur photos are very serene and nicely framed. Keep it up, it works ๐Ÿ™‚ Take care Warrior! Really!

      • Thanks for the kind words. If can survive my childhood, Lyme is not going to knock me under. It kicks your ass and you fill like you’re dying. I plan on blogging thru my journey. I don’t think people understand Lyme can kill you. I thought you like the Chicago ref., most probably didn’t get it. I don’t write for those folks. Time to pick for Throw Back Thrusday. I didn’t think I had any repressed memories, wrong. I’ve been harboring anger from an event which happened at 19 yrs. old. I hope to blog tomorrow. Take care. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • I picked a special song for you this week. I can imagine, that and most of their songs are so great. I know you’ll you’ll enjoy Frampton just carve out 25 minutes of live performance!!!!!! Awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • If I were planning my funeral, instead of eulogy, bring out my fav 70’s rock tunes. I watched 25 minutes of Frampton and I was back there minus the joint!!!!!! Hope you like the shout out. ๐Ÿ™‚
