I was Kevin’s age when diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. A lack of understanding and feelings of shame, I kept a lid on my problems, until boiling over. I did not accept my mental illness until my father committed suicide in 1992. His death sent me down a path of research and learning how to take charge of my medical care. I accept Bipolar Disorder is not curable at this time yet confident in the future.

Twin, the videos can’t be seen from here. A depressed comic sound really sad. Robin Williams always comes to my mind and I feel like crying.

I’ve seen this piece before, M, it is brilliant. I feel like many comics suffer some form of depression…it is a way to cope. Thanks.

It’s the same for artist, I’ve heard of people allowing themselves to get manic because you’re heightened. Impressionist period is my fav art, many painters were mentally ill. Other than the fighter, how bites someone’s ear off. That could be to the determent, mania is glorified, it sounds great. As my dr says, the higher you go the further you fall. I know that for sure.
