I saw Kevin Laue on television with a group of kids playing basketball. It was amazing to see the faces, looks of children feeling like they belonged for the first time. He is very upbeat and is making a difference in our youth across the country.

Hi Melinda – he’s certainly open doors to many kids and their family’s lives … so they can grow and help others. Kevin Laue has learnt so much … and overcome so much – his story is incredible … and now he’s helping lots of others – loved reading about him … and hope one day to see the film/s on his life. Thanks so much – great #WAWTB post – cheers Hilary

You can watch many of his videos on YouTube, they are quite amazing. The way kids from all backgrounds relate to him and suddenly you see this smile come across their face. They feel like they belong and many may not have felt that way before. He is an amazing man. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Have a great day, Hilary.

He’s a remarkable man, he motivated me to not get so down on myself, stop looking at the outside and look at what’s on the inside. It worked for a couple of days. I’m so hard on myself. I hope the attic is uncovering treasures! :)

WOW! Are you almost finished with the house? I felt a sense of sadness when we put the house of the market.

It seems like our Wilmington house will be finished close to the time I’ll be done with my parents’ house. Getting ready to start moving stuff back over the next few weeks. I will probably cry when I sell their house, but I’m trying to remember that I’m carrying a lot of the memories that were inside the house with me.

I took photos of special places from childhood, you always have the memories and nothing can take them away. Maybe you could write a journal of all the experiences and treasures you found, if you haven’t already. Have a great evening.

Thanks for encouragement. I have made a few journal entries, but I could certainly write more about specific items. You, to, Melinda.
