Your quote makes a good point! The golden light leading up to sunset is my favorite part of the day. Sunsets can surprise you when it seems like it’s done but the sky is still doing amazing things after the sun has dipped below the horizon. And then there’s the stars….

I had a big home on a golf course and enjoyed watching the sunsets every evening from the deck or kitchen. Although I’m grateful and enjoy my townhouse, I can’t see the sky and do miss those sunsets. Have a wonderful weekend, Melinda.

I made a big mistake the other day out of frustration and pain. I raised my voice at God and ask him if he could dump more shit on me. Big mistake. I’ve not done that before but he’s ging me some of my request. Thinking about it, instead of praying over the incident I just need to ask for forgiveness. You’ve opened my eyes today. Hugs.

It’s comforting to know we’re not alone in those moments of frustration. The Bible is full of examples of people who cried out to God in their pain, like David in the Psalms, Job in his suffering, and even Jeremiah when he felt abandoned. I’ve had my moments of shouting and venting to God too, and the fact that we feel conviction afterward shows our hearts are still seeking Him. God doesn’t shy away from our honesty; He can handle it and meets us with Grace. You’re already taking the right step by seeking forgiveness. His mercies are new every morning.
God Bless You. Praying for peace in your heart.

After I replied to your post I sit and prayed for forgiveness for taking my frustration and anger out on him. I said his is the last person I want to take out my frustrations on and thanked him for being a forgiving God and for sending his only son to earth to live as a man. I sit quitely for a few minutes and I started feeling better. I know Job well but the difference is Job didn’t get angry with God he justed cried out in pain and despair but never stopped believing. I father was reading Job when he killed himself. I read it often to remember the pain Job went through yet he never wavered in his beleif in God. :) Thanks for being there.

I’ll be praying for you, too. We’re all walking this journey together, and it means a lot to know we can support each other through these ups and downs. You’re not alone, and God’s grace is bigger than any of our struggles.

So glad you like it. I have a question for you. I’ve noticed that you’ve been reading post from the archives, do you have a method to find the type of post your looking for or are you going by year? Just curious. Thanks. :)
